Over the next few entries, I considered doing more with the story since the ideas just kept piling in. So I begun to leave myself room in case I wanted to make more branching spin offs. Another story with the original Yoshi and a story focusing on Henry. Neither of them happened in the end due to loss of motivation, but they could still unlikely happen. Does setup for a fight though. Also yeah, its meant to be a tab bit serious but the Transmizer wasn't all too powerful. Just enough to not be considered a pushover, which it was in the end anyways.

Oh man, I quit reading right before Yoshi quit writing? That feels really bad.
Well, I'm excited to find out if anything changed with you in that time. I guess I'll see in the April Fool's arc.

I wouldn't feel bad. The fact that people or anyone is reading and commenting at all is a blessing within itself. That and the fact that I completed my goal; albeit rushed; of starting a story and sticking to it till the end with a weekly schedule, I can't be sad at all.

The weekly thing is what gets me. I tend to devote myself to one thing at a time, so to have the focus to keep at it with no distracts is something else.
Finally, how long would you say it took to write each chapter?

At first it was just a few hours to a day. It wasn't that hard to pump them out. Then when I start caring more about proof reading and adding more detail, sometime between 1-3 days, one of them being the proof reading day. Though I'm pretty sure that needs lot of improvement still, my proof reading, heh. Though I will admit that some chapters were on the spot. A few hours before the posting date.

1-3 days spent each week working on this, for...I want to say, years? That's some impressive commitment.

Man, I wish I could finish each chapter in a few days. I'd be cranking them out like crazy! xD They take me nearly two weeks each, start to finish. That includes adding music, character portraits, proofreading, etc. Of course, I only spend a couple hours a day on them most of the time.

I've always believed that keeping a consistent schedule is important. I lost sleep a few times trying to finish the chapter before my Saturday morning deadline. That's why I usually work ahead and keep a cushion.

Yoshi, you were always able to maintain a consistent schedule, and I always appreciated that. It felt more like a "show" that was coming out on a specific day (in this case, Tuesdays).

Yeah, I've always envied how quickly he can chug them out. But I have to admit, my timeline is not too different from his. The difference is, I can't write when I don't feel like it. Most days I was lucky to write a paragraph.

When I don't feel like writing, my favorite trick is to make writing the most desirable option. When my two options are A) work on my story, or B) do some chores, suddenly writing looks a lot more appealing!
