    Default Question about crafting

I was told that extending 8* and higher weapons lowers the damage. is that true? I thougt the whole point of extending was to make the weapon more powerful. If there is a good tutorial vid about crafting out there, please share :3

It makes it more powerful. But on the other hand it gives a huge variance. So in hindsight, you'll be doing less damage on average.

(Also higher-end 10*s outdamage even the highest damage on a crafted 7-9*)
    Thanks Yoshi for the Sig!

High level weapon has a built in -dex bonus, that keeps damage variance low.
By crafting it, you remove that bonus.

So for example, you can be origionally dealing around 1200~1500 damage with the uncrafted weapon.
After you crafted, let's say you gain 100 more atk, but the bonus is removed, so now you deal between 900~1600, thus less total damage

When you go to craft a weapon, it has the new (base) attack values on the recipe you are using. most low-tier 10*'s get a small attack boost when you craft at lv4, however the huge damage variation is almost never worth it

This must be some kind of glitch, I refuse to believe Sega have finally fixed this game's horrible performance problems.

    S-ATK of any Lv.1 extended 10* sword 464 (881 at +10)
    S-ATK of any Lv.4 extended 10* sword 531 (1008 at +10)

Keep extending your weapon, you "could" get more ATK with an higher extend level. However, you'll need 500 DEX to use a Lv.4 extended 10* ... but like they said, just don't craft weapons if you are looking for damage.

    craft units > good
craft weapons for utility (MKB, dash daggers ...) > good
craft weapons for the look > sure, go ahead
craft weapons for damage > nope
