Nah, TE has no real multipliers, so chances it's going to be HU as par gor the course, or FI if you really want to use Techs. Kicks are probably going to be striking-elemental Tech damage like Wand Gear.

You'd only sub TE if you wanted Wand Gear really.

Also this means a worthy hunter combination that allows for TECH ACCESS.

Well, still keeping fingers crossed that it'd supplement TE's play style rather replace it. What the boots to be is basically the melee version of Bullet Bow fueled by T-ATK.

As long as SEGA doesn't fix Wand Gears exponential hits on zondeel'd groups, melee Techer will stay relevant with content like AQ's.

The boots will be a nice change of pace though. Being able to use Zondeel in combination with melee, without being gimped will be nice though.
