Had a lot of trouble staying connected during the Magatsu EQ earlier using AWS and Windows for VPN connection. Anyone else? Not sure if it was my end or not, as this is the first time I had this connection problem.

It keeps on disconnecting me every few minutes after i log in with this.

this network error BS is getting on my nerves. almost always occuring during EQ's

I used to have that issue, changing these two settings fixed it. I hope it can help (*´･д･)



Edit: 30sec is maybe excessive, 15sec should do the trick too.

I noticed a fix posted here for network jitter with PuTTY, does anyone know if there is a similar fix I could do with using Win7 over PPTP? I have terrible stability when it comes to JST primetime EQ's and weekend EQs.

If it helps any, I used Ana-Chan's guide found here in this thread. Just having trouble locating a similar setting to the one Ordy posted with PuTTY.

I can connect to the game when ProxyCap disabled, but when I change block I got disconnect. So can I disable Proxycap when I'm in game to reduce lag or it just takes effect in this case "Once you have reached the character select screen you can disable ProxyCap and enter into the world." ?
