    You can do that by default. Element burst just adds the... well... burst.

    Ah my mistake, didn't notice the shift action doing anything before putting a point in it. Guess I don't need to put any points in once I reset then, was just gonna drop 1 in it for that function.

    I'd actually prefer it if no points in EB just did the dodge without dropping your element. I put a point in burst since it doesn't matter much either way. At least this way I get a visual cue for when I accidentally purge my charge.

    Anyone feel boots to be kinda lacking in single target DPS? I feel it's really lacking a powerful single target PA.

    I'd definitely put it a bit below blades in terms of damage but I'm still having absolutely no issues melting bosses with it. The lack of PA variety really just makes it feel like a one-trick pony, but all 3 PA do great damage and a fully charged Strike Gust or Grand Wave does crazy damage as /HU with Jet Boots Strike.

    I'm using BOBR so with Attack Advance I'm doing a lot of damage with normals, so I feel I'm doing okay for single target purposes.

    Not only that, but with my Tatk being legit, I have techs for Single Target Purposes as well.

    Mm. I didn't have too much trouble with them in vh.. aside from Bal Doros, who seemed to take forever. I feel pretty sluggish soloing bosses in SH though. I'm a bo/te with a Lv6 Extended weapon and all my multpliers are maxed.

    Maybe I ought to try using techs more.

    If you haven't finished off your Matterboards, Matterboard 10: A-1 has Lamda Arestia an 8* Jet Boots with Weak Stance potential and Matterboard 9: E-7 has Lamda Adredo, a 9* Dual Blade with JA potential. Decent starting gear I feel.
