Hu vs Fi for JB is Automate vs Chase + Tech Damage. Frankly the two are practically indistinguishable apart from that now that MH and TAJAPPS are rings.

At most, try both and decide for yourself. There's the lv75 bonus after all.

I thought the idea of using JB Bo in the manner of using techniques like NaMegid-0 while doing JB PAs to be amusing but I'd assume that would be more of a niche build than a useful one

Throwing up uncharged namegid-0 is going to give you more damage regardless of what build or weapon or anything you're using. Because it resets any time you use it, but lasts so long, there's no reason to spam it so it's not a PP drain or anything. Heck, if you have the time you could even charge it then change your element back to what you need.

Jet boots have never been "meta".

Doesn't mean it's a bad weapon, unless you're talking to people that think Kestral type-0 replaced it.
Bouncer in general was hardly a class in demand even during the FI/BO days.

Jet boots have always been good, and they still are. You should rotate between both weapons as the active skills go on cooldown.

Jet boots have never been bad, but they don't really have a niche other than it's cheaper to use them than DBs. The fact that they have t-atk on them is pointless when nothing really matches the tech power of Fo. And if you're using Fo, why would you be using JBs since Fo doesn't improve any of their PAs enough to make them equal to the techs. :/

Bo/Hu has more survivability and easier stance use, Bo/Fi can squeeze out a bit more potential damage. That's how it's always been.
