I got a genesis system that just bombed and cant play my old games anymore. erh, i know about emulators, i got tons, NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Gameboy, etc.
I wanted a portable system so i could play anywhere. Oh well.
Emulators just don't seem to cut it for me. I just copied a SNES emulator to use on the Dreamcast, and I'm not happy with the emulation - it's pretty slow and choppy. At least you get the controller - I'm too lazy to buy a pad for my PC, and I don't like playing emulated games on the PC simply because I hate using the keyboard. For most PC games, it's okay - but for console games, it just sucks.
