ARKS Road help with desynthesize?

So in the ARKs road it tells me I need to deesynthesize and item. Ok, all clear, I got to my room, go to craft, Item Desynthesize, but then it only shows any 7 stars or higher items. So does that means I can only desynthesize 7 stars or higher items? I mean cmon, I'm just like lvl 15 and I need to get rid of a rare drop I got? Yes, I desynthesized one of those 7 stars. but then the arks road mission didnt even completed and now I'm stuck with that mission and I don't know what to do, do I need to desynthesize another weapon or what? I only have 2 left that I can desynthesize. Thank you.

Get to Level 20, find a Lv11 or higher Disc that you don't need and desynthesize that. Or just buy a cheap 7 star rare for $1050 from the player shops.

It should complete once you come out of your room.
You can probably get a couple of more 7-9* rares from the player shops for 1050 mes.
