Well, it's weird, I have two buddies on TWC, and they didn't get this, though I just switched over to TWC about a month ago. Maybe my router settings changed after some of their
apparent maintenance, but they sure as hell didn't let me know, lol.

It's a possibility. Still, it is worth a shot. I think there is an issue with a couple of ISPs and it is likely due to a server malfunction since maintenance. Perhaps the issue will be fixed with this next upcoming maintenance for people still going through the issues with connecting.

Did you try performing a tracert to locate where the problem began?
