New matterboard has new, 12* all-class katana.

I'm not sure what is disappointing about this katana. It even has more base than all the other 12* katanas and can be used by Fighter/Braver. That huge amount of dmg for enemies hit by status would fall in well with Chase Advance and Mirage is already one of the statuses that affects most enemies.

Stun also counts as a status.

SE is irrelevant when most mobs die before you're able to even apply it.
Plus all bosses are immune to SE. All this katana has going for it is the fact that it's all-class.

Using Haraehoushun or something makes sense to me.

Yeah, chase isn't the best of builds, it just takes too long to apply statuses on bosses and the only alternative to a status effect rainbow is using a weaker weapon and waste time you could have spent doing good dmg with a good weapon instead.

This might have snyergy, but not where it matters.
