I could use some help with Black Nyack

There are a number of rules I don't really know.
Recently I played for the first time more than 5 minutes and I saw a lot of stuff not making much sense to me.

Like 5 cards being higher than 21. Or special numbers from dices being added to cards and directly to your score. Or those cards sometimes getting flipped for normal values and sometimes not.
Or Sometimes getting extra cards.
Or Battle Bonyas.

In short, I am very, very confused and would really appreciate some explanations.

Five Card Charlie:
In some variants of Blackjack, if you are dealt 5 cards without going over 21, you're given an automatic win.

Special Cards:
I'm a little iffy on this one, but my understanding through observation is that anyone with a special card in his or her hand has a number added to their hand each time a die is rolled. I believe from 0-5 or 0-6. I can't remember.

Battle Bonyas:
Special events where all players are given a chance to earn extra CC by having the highest hand at the table.

I would need clarification because I do not understand what you are referring to in this statement.

Special cards: Every time someone (including nyau) draws a special card you roll a die. The number that comes up is added to the value of the special card. The value starts at 0 in the beginning of each hand and is reset every hand. If you had 20 with one special card and stayed, and then someone with a special card rolled a 2, you would have 22, and you'd be fuckt.

I think you're talking about Aces, which can be 11 or 1 depending on whichever highest value it can get away with being without busting you.

But what I mean with flipped is the special cards.
Looks like normally only the dice numbers on them are added to your score. But sometimes special cards get flipped and instead their real value is added.

And occasionally Nyau will give me extra cards I didn't ask for. When it's my turn I may get 2 and even if not I may get one.
Seems to related to special cards as well but I don't know why it really happens.

And I know in Battle Bonyas you get more for having the highest score, but it seems to be only 1 card before Bonyas ends (learned the hard way when I doubled up and lost).

But would be nice if someone could post definite rules, so I didn't have to guess at most stuff.

I think I get what you're saying about flipped cards now if you're referencing special cards.

Cards that get revealed:
-Special cards (Black Nyack specific)
-First card dealt

Everything else is hidden until it's time to check hands.

Battle Bonyas does not limit you to draw only one card. If you choose to double down on your first draw (the only time you could do it), you only get to draw one card for being able to double your bet. This is a high risk, high reward play since you cannot draw any additional cards afterwards. In the event that you end up with a low hand, you're stuck with that low hand for the remainder of that round.

The game rules closely follows that of regular blackjack with battle bonya and special cards being the only variations.

5 cards trump black jack,
black jacks trumps everything below.

I have yet to see a 5 card 3 special...I can only think of the mound of money on top of being the highest hand in a bonus round.
