ALSO! Is it normal to down-socket items to alleviate the cost of affixing? I have 8 slots on my Gal Wind Talis and 7 on my Cadaceus and I don't have even a fraction of the money to put worthwhile things in all of them...

work up a wind tech tree,

If low on cash, I downslot to 3 and then upgrade to 4.
Otherwise I go to 3-4 and upgrade to 5. Only bother with 5 if the equipment is worthwhile.

if you can buy an 11* weapon, you'll also get a 12* pass in the future


rather, do any XH EQ and you should get plenty of weapons to play with

Note that you have to buy the 11 star weapon befrer 19th to get a 12 star pass.
Or you can do XH a bunch of times to get the 12 star pass titles.
