Hello i'm wondering if someone can share me tips to get a good angle, lighting or zoom (and most is done without DSLR camera at our room) for PSO2 Screenshots? There are many georgeous screenshoots escpecially in PSO2 fashion thread, mind for sharing tips for good screenshots?

I find the best places for lighting are the Casino area, the Coast (especially during the sunset) and Facility. Even your room, depending on what scenery you're using, during certain times of the day. Afternoon has the best lighting from the sun and the evening has a nice lighting effect too. The hard part is either entering your room at the right time or just waiting around for the day cycle to change.

As far as angles go, everyone will tell you something different as photography styles differ from person to person. I personally like pictures at an angle because to me they give more of a dynamic effect. It also depends on what kind of pic you're going for.

Of course, the wide area view (camera pulled far back) is good for scenic shots.

If you're trying to go for a profile-like shot, try zooming in on your character from the top of the head to the waist. Always try and get the top of the head. Pictures with the top cut off don't look good.

For Full-Body shots, try to get as much of your character in the shot without grabbing too much of the background. The main focus is your character. Turn/rotate/zoom in-out to get as much of your character in the picture without cropping the top or bottom. Sometimes rotating the camera from the horizontal position to the vertical helps with this.

And as far as dynamic shots, just experiment with different Lobby Actions, attacks, etc. I find that the best shots come from those. Don't just try and go for the shot that you want, repeatedly keep pressing that Prt Sc button during the action to get individual frames. You'll get some really cool pictures that way.

Also...Use the Shift + WASD. What that does is either move the camera up/down or left/right. It's a cool little feature that can move the camera from the middle of the screen to a different position. It takes a little getting used to but it's good if you have more than one person in your photo or if you want to grab something that's standing away from your character.

Sorry for the text wall...Hope this helped though

Just gonna add to what Chime said above, Team Room is also a good place to take screenshots. I find the 'ruins' (forgot exact name), 'skyscape' and beach team rooms good for lighting purposes and the japanese-styled one for thematic purposes.

Adding expressions to your character too via cut-ins (do /ci# # nw so the cut-in window doesn't show) while taking shots also adds more depth to your shots by showcasing the character's personality. Even if your character is considered stoic/expressionless, adding even a /ci1 1 can add a bit more flair.

Rest of the tips I could give are either mentioned above, or things you can normally find in a photography composition book =w=

There are 3 different camera angles you can custom set from shortcut menu, without any outside items. Play around with that, a lot, and find angles you like for shots you want to take. This will address the zoom and angle problem. For the lighting, where the sun is on that map matters on how it will reflect on your chara. You generally want to take a shot where the light source is shining toward the side of the character you want to take the pic with, like this. In contrast, this is going against the light and you want to avoid doing that unless it's for some specific reason.

Also, play around with the chat command that does a cut-in and throw a nw in to make it so that small chat window doesn't show up. It adds life to your character. (The first screenshot above used that.) Add a s100 to the end so the emotion/eyes will last 100 seconds, usually good enough to take some shots.

Just imagine how you want your final product to look like and go from there. Or just mash the print screen button and pick a frame you like afterward.

Everyone takes pride in different things, sugar-tits.

Taking nice pictures is fun, and there's nothing wrong with being prideful of it. All those bozos that cut off the tops of their characters heads or post horribly un-centered images, goddamn.

Hire Meji, pay him with your soul = instant awesome 4k photos.
On a serious note, play around with the camera controls from the quick menu. Also different locations accentuate what ever costume or parts you have. Add different lobby actions and you are now a pro.
