Xenoblade Chronicles X , the ultimate sci fi RPG?

I'm gonna go ahead and say Earthbound is, by far, my favorite sci-fi RPG.

Then again, I haven't even played Xenoblade! Though I would like to check it out at some point. I just wasn't sure if Xenoblade 3D was a port of Xenoblade Chronicles and, if so, if it was available to be played properly without using the 3DS' 3D (my eyes can't take that nonsense).

Guess I'll go look it up now.

3DS one has worse graphics and no option for Japanese Voices. The later alone is reason enough not to buy it. I can't stand this game with English voices. Aside that its a direct port from the original.

It's been compressed to the point of being passably bearable to look at. Voices is a bonus, for those interested in it. However, the original Wii version is hard to find or overpriced due to a certain retailer.

On the whole Xenoblade Blade Chronicles X, I want another incentive to play on my Wii U than shooting paint at other people.

The english voice cast is great in this game tho, and it's always reyn time, I'm really feeling it
seriously how is this bad voice acting? xD someone hasn't played ark fantasia on the wii >.< the VA's in there are funny, as in so bad its funny xD


as for graphics and performance, just get this game on the dolphin emulator.

Read that for online squads, you can join random or friend made squads, not sure how accurate that is., but they did say it supports USB keyboard, I guess for lobby chat?

It might be for all chat. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate allowed keyboard chat at all times. (though that specific game had full voice chat as well)

seriously how is this bad voice acting?

To the point I heard the first 2 lines of the opening, made my ears bleed, rebooted the game, put voice to JP and never switched it off. I guess it's not terrible voice acting for a game itself, I just find English ones to be dull and boring compared to Japanese I mainly blame anime and JP VA Only JRPGs for that. Wish more games had the option for Japanese VA like The Last Story, which I must say has pretty good English VA, and Tales games.

@Blace: Yeah the overpricing really sucks in america, over here its a hit and miss. I remember finding a mint copy last year pre-used for 20 euro. Bought instantly and gave it to a friend of mine.
