I wanted to know that. Thanks.

Had 4 people suddenly leave when TD4 started.
JP friends I was partied with started talking about rumors they heard of some JP people leaving if they see Summoners.
Apprently, some people think Summoners are trash and weak. Even though I flatten enemies with my crappy 9 star Torim and usually do around 11% of the multi's damage.
That's pretty sad. Maybe if SEGA didn't make Summoners look like a class for pre-schoolers.

That's a bad idea because they'll end up in a shittier party or lose out on 1 run in most cases. They'd either have to suck it up or play in a premade if they see classes they dont like.

I can understand people not wanting to play SU, or not liking it, but where on earth is anyone getting the impression that the class is weak? ._.

I mean I guess there's the possibility of all your pets dying, but if that's happening often enough to be a problem it's not any different than a Fi/whatever dying constantly using limit break.

I have actually seen a fair number of party descriptions with like "summoner - X" on them...

I wouldn't worry about it. As I recall people were like this with Braver initially too though to be fair I think Braver was kinda rubbish before the hilarity with Shunka started.

I mean, my summoner is kind of weak TBH so I'm always hesitant to bring it to MPAs. Like it does, idk, 11-14k nonweak per Torim Stab? I don't know how much damage it's meant to do (11*, maxed stats, 75/60 SuBr Average/Weak stance + attack advance with Attack up/high up and s-atk up, 90 s-atk on mag, 180 attack on units, 50% element 3 s-atk cookies and no parfaits yet so he is kind of lacking in areas). There may be people like me with significantly less shame bringing their half-built characters in...

I've had good runs as SU/BR using Wanda 100% of the time (13* lvl 103 with no parfaits atm). Pretty much just know your AIS order and mob spawn patterns and it's fine. Not a single time the Wanda died and maintain aggro draw.

Today's 1st run I was surprised to see wave 1 cleared in 70 seconds.

The class does a lot of damage, but it's still a "weak" class because of the lack of control it has. Unlike other classes you can't really free-aim properly and position to focus on weakspots or certain areas for mobbing, the pet only really follows a target and isn't fully controllable around the target.

For example Summoner is pretty useless in TD on its own when compared to almost everything else. You can "draw aggro" sure, but you can't properly do damage to the enemies until they've already run and come back to you because of how gimmicky pets are.

It's kind of like Hunter in that it has damage, but it doesn't have proper flexibility to use it better than other classes can.

I keep forgetting other people's standard is being able to do stuff fast enough to get more than 3 runs of something in.

What are some element suggestions for each pet?
I just want to focus on the best to have element for each pet for now, seeing that new pets will also be released in the future and we can only hold 10.

It doesn't matter much, I'd just go with the standard light.
