so at first when I saw the video I was like "wtf is this".
To me the summons look merely like stances for a wide-medium range melee character.

I'm more interested in seeing if this class brings new good subclass options for existing classes

All of the new classes have been extremely specialized for their weapon types and are generally worthless for subclassing unless you plan on using their weapons anyways. TE/BR is probably the only exception to the rule, and even then, you'll still want to use a bow for bossing.

By 'all' you mean 'both', and Br is actually a decent sub for both Fo and Te as we all know. Don't think there's many weirdos who still do Ra/Br still, but it's still effective at what it does, though not preferred. Bo is truly a garbage class to sub, and is only used a sub to use Bo weapons with better mainclass skills. It lacks anything meaningful/unique/effective to supplement the mainclass of choice.

The only reason RA/BR, FO/BR, and GU/BR are so good is because Banish Arrow exists.

Fo/Br only good because of BA? Yeah, no. It's the highest tech damage combination for Force elements. Banish Arrow has little to do with it. Bouncer's the only really bad subclass that was added past EP1.

BA is a personal +130% multiplier. That's almost 50% more than everything else Braver brings to techs combined.

On a single target. After three seconds. After you already started attacking the target.

In other words, useless against anything weaker than a mid-boss. Mobs are a thing, you know. And Force is a mobbing class first and foremost.

It looks like it will be getting a Switch Strike for T-atk -> S-atk and another one for T-atk -> R-atk.
