Is there an easier way to find a rappy for the skill point quest?

if you aren't in a huge rush to clear the c/o, there is a chaotic tranquility scheduled for monday night. that should spawn one for you.

That's what I've been doing for years. Figured it out myself.
I recommended it to friends too. Works for them.

Basically, when you enter some maps, there's a chance for certain enemies or codes to spawn.
That quest has a pretty high chance of spawning a Rappy, although it can take many tries.
Exit campship, run around a little, and if Rappy doesn't spawn, restart and try again.
If you don't want to keep restarting the quest, you can try completing it normally, and a Rappy may still spawn.

...I just ran Nab Rappy Capture a few times. For whatever reason real Rappies spawn pretty often there.

Hoh, I didn't know about that flag in Tunnels survey. I've always run Facility Explore, it does have a nice spawn rate, about 5-10 minutes to find one.
