how are the drop rates on him in a shaq? i haven't run a shaq since nero stones became a thing, but i've killed quite a few hunars on the christmas eq and he seems to be VERY stingy about dropping neros. i've killed probably 6 or 7 of them and gotten maybe 1 stone.

from my experience, him and angel both seem to hate dropping neros. is it worth bothering with shaqs or am i better off just waiting until i do enough xmas/progeny of the apocalypse/profound invasion/etc.?

In my experience, Hunar/Angel/Double won't drop Neros. They have something like 1 every 15 kills drop rate on Xmas EQ and, personally, absolute 0 on SHAQS.

Apprentice not only drops more often, but I got 2 stones from a single kill a couple of times.

Deo Hunar drops Cale/Neros/Phantasmal pretty often. But doesn't spawn that much.

So, basically, play Xmas4 eq and do multiple runs on Elder and Loser.

All DF when they're not in their most powerful forms have bad drop rates for nero.
Dark Falz Luther and Elder in their separate quests easily have the highest drop rates.
DF Luther 0-5 nero stones per fight with an average of 2+ stones.
DF Elder 0-3? stones per fight also with an average of 2 stones.
DF Elder+Luther EQ drops a max of 2 stones and you seem to always get 2 stones.
DF Double + PD drops 0-3, maybe an average of 1 stone per fight.
Dio Hunar can drop 0-3 as well, with probably an average of 1 stone per fight.
