To be honest, I probably wouldn't care much even if they did do a PSO2 anime that didn't suck.
I can't imagine caring enough to watch. If it was a PSO1 anime... I think I'd watch that.

I can't afford to be excited about it. Being excited about something Phantasy Star related only brings pain.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what the subject matter is. If they don't care about what they're making, it's going to end up as garbage no matter what.

Iirc in the trailer they showed a caseal with the bear parts for a second or two fighting some darkers. I'm pretty sure that will be this anine's loli. Can't have a anime these days without a loli or a shota afterall.

Yeah, but I mean, PSO2's story is so meh that I don't think I could stand watching it even if it was animated well.

I saw JP people complaining about PSO2 having too many school uniforms a few years ago.

I've played through as much story mode as I could, and I still can't tell you what the story is. Each chapter in each episode goes over something new.
