    I wonder... the game is very popular in Japan to make these events? I say this because I will prefer they spend the money in the development of the game, I'm sure with F2P model the budget is very limited

    SEGA makes a ton of money, and these events bring even more yen (and people) in; Budget isn't an issue.

    The game is ridiculously popular in Japan. Like I wager PS has never been this big a deal over there, but I don't have hard numbers to back this idea up.

    Based on ID numbers, PSU on Japan had like 250k+ or so accounts by the end, PSO2 far surpassed that at the beginning.

    Anyone knows the subscriber base for PSO2es? I heard it might be higher than PSO2....
