PS4 JP Account Verification and -English Patch-?

Hello! A two parter here. I've registered for a Japanese PS4 account but I have not received a verification email yet; has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know a solution? (Same process I used to register a HK account for DOAX3, so I know I did it correctly.)

Second question: is there any possibility of the English patch releasing for PS4 somehow now or in the future?

1) All I can say is to make sure to check your spam folder.
2) Not impossible, but the question is whether or not it is worth the effort and risk; it would require custom firmware, then someone to create the patch to work with the PS4. Plus, odds are if custom firmware is detected, you could lose access to the PSN, and since PSO2 is linked to both your PSN account and your SEGA ID, you would most likely be unable to unlink them, and are then SOL playing PSO2 on the PS4.

There is no English patch for PSO2 on PS4.
