Default Article: News: PSO Websites Go Multilingual? From Swirlvision.com

godfree writes, "Sega's Sonic Team and Excite's Japanese subsidiary are working hard to make your Phantasy Star Online experience as global as possible. On March 2, Sonic Team and Excite of Japan teamed up to begin translating SOA, SOE, Sonic Team and authorized fansites of PSO into Japanese. The purpose of this, according to a recent press release on the Sonic Team website is to "allow for communications beyond borders and to ensure mutual international support of the game" as well as "allow for [communication] between [players in different nations]." No word yet as to whether Sonic Team USA, SOA or Excite plan (or their European subsidiaries plan) the same thing for the other four languages in PSO, or the rules regarding "authorized fansites." However, if response to the Japanese plan is enthusiastic, translation in the other regions is sure to follow, and you can be sure that if it happens, SwirlVision will be there to report it. (GODFREE from PSO) "
Wonder if PSO World will get some SOA lovins?
