It's also entirely possible that the Scythe is a T-ATK weapon btw.
It'd certainly help the Player market to balance affix costs out with its 9 S-ATK weapons (10 if we include hero). 4 R-ATK weapons (6 if we include Hero and Gunslash) and 4 T-ATK weapons (5 if we include hero). Not counting Takt because you can't affix that and outside of Rykros most Builds are S-ATK anyway.

I'm leaning more into the possibility that this is a Rod myself. most rods will probably still look goofy held like this, but if there has ever been two weapon types that have had models that get confused for one or the other, it's partisans and rods
like we got the falz angel partisan looking like it should be a rod, the Amun weapon series literally using the exact same model, the Calamity rod lookin like a scythe

It could just be space different world instead
