Ship transfers when?

I know it's in the beta, but I'm surprised that SEGA hasn't gone to this moneymaker yet. I made a character on Ship 2, the ship I played on the JP server, and just found out a friend made his character on Ship 3. Now I'd like to transfer my character, but I can't. Is it coming with the full release, or does anyone know when this feature is coming?

I would recommend trying to ask the official twitter account about it; there a few threads on the official forum, but it doesn't look like there has been an official response. I would imagine, though, that it will come when they leave Beta and open up the rest of the Ships.
