There's a robot rabit in the popular kids game "Jazz Jackrabit".
I have it (well, the sequel, anyway). It's called Jumping Flash!, and the robo-bunny's name is Robbit. He's so cute~... and the frogs in the funny hats! And the MuuMuus! I love that game~
...Anyway, I don't think Sonichi is supposed to be Robbit (at least, it's highly unlikely; JF! is a first-party Sony game... there would be copyright problems), but now that you mention it, I do see a resemblance.
Isnt it Soniti? (sounds like a weird way of saying sonic team) To me it doesn't look like a rabbit but it does look like a mecha Opa Opa.
