heh, I'm just a moron I don't know any better so that's why I suggest stupid ideas.. like Sonicteam put in little PSO gremlins in the disk so that when people start duping they start doing things to your memory card that eventually corrupt your character...

Cheating = Crappy double save patch (nevermind the fact the patch is crappy = Corrupted characters

Blame ST all you want because of the patch, but the fire didn't start with an explosion.

Allow me to redo the example now; neverminding the fact the patch is crappy.

Whats wrong with the double save? Why does it make you corrupted and why did ST put it there? Also about the duping thingy, I am a confessed dupe USER, i don't like duping, just using em

The double save happens right when you join a game, which is also when the HUD (heads up display) loads. For whatever reason, loading the HUD causes your game to FSOD more often than it normally would, and when you FSOD during a save you corrupt since you have to turn the game off.

I've been fsoded 3 time all of which were when my cable modem was lagged up for some reason or another

Here is my take on dupers....some suck but some are actually fine....I just started duping and was 100% legit until last friday but unlike most dupers me and my 3 other duper freinds actually have a concious towards PSO. We dupe for us and us only no one else and i refuse to dupe mags weapons or armor. And with all the dupers with 99 p spheres running around with 90/0/90/0/90 disgusts me...i sold all my high % dupes and because they make the game to easy and there just too cheap...so next time you bash a duper take a look at what he's duping is it BKBs Tsum's and Spread Needles? or is he duping vol 2 and vol 6 =]

um... id blame dupers for FSOD just because if people didnt try so hard to cheat and duplicate items, there would be no need to rob you of your items when it occured.

I'm afraid I dont see how they are responsible for FSOD in that statement.

Oh and yeah I dupe disk 2 and 6 too, thats about it though.
