PSO online woes

I was recently playing online when I expierenced a BSOD and eventually had
to reset the dreamcast. I then powered it on only to discover the majority
of the equipment i was holding was completely wiped out. Luckily, before
this had happened I e-mailed a backup to myself. However, I now get a vmu
error only when i connect online. I played offline a while to put my time
back up so it would be later then my previous online game - or at least i
think it is. Everytime i attempt to go online now it says i have a corrupt
save and the item data will be initialized. Is this the general error when
a previous online time is later then the current one? Should i just play
offline a little more? Or is it something else?

$ega, has now prevented the use of backups. Youre out of luck. I know that must suck. So now, next time, try not to have your dc to reset or be careful as mush as possible.
