That totally sucks. I would totally play FFXI instead of PSO if given the chance~just cuz things like 29 weapons and duping wouldn't be possible (I hope I hope I hope!!!)

Once Sonic Team figures it out, there's a 10% chance they might fix it in online mode. But until then, get used to not being able to play a Hunter or a Force in open games. Rangers with Spread Needles will kill every enemy in the room before you can even breathe on them.

They can't fix the American version - or at least they don't know how. They messed up the patching system, and it crashes the game if they try to use it. However, there is a workaround that me and other people found independently, such as the one used in PSOloader. The problem is that you have to be a very good reverse engineer to come up with a workaround, and I'm not sure Sonic Team has anyone like that =/

Sorry for the poor quality, but it gives you an idea of what they are talking about. It's hard to see here but I have the following equipped:
Sange and Yasha
Double Cannon
Parasol
Rainbow baton
Twin Brand
Red Daggers (probably coulda used different weps to make them show up better)

And for armors I only did a few:
Flame garment
Chu Chu fever
Luminous Field

yeah they all swing unless you use a gun, then it just does the gun animation. Also if you equip a wep that doesnt combo, you cant ever combo, even if the last equipped item does combo.
