Why would you rather we did not bump old threads ?
I'm NOT arguing, you say not to bump old topics, I won't. But I'm curious why is it annoying ; why is it more annoying than creating new topics (about 15 a day !!) ?

Do not hesitate to lock the topic once I get my reply

What I would like to know is, how old is old? Off the first page, one week, what?

Frankly i think bumping an old topic would be better than making a new one. sure its of course brand new but wouldnt that take up more space? Some topics appear under a bazillion threads, why not make just one and save the trouble. And plus what if hardly anyone replied to it. Why not bump it and try to get more attention out of it.
    Seems more logical to me

Another point to ask is the 'recurring theme' topic. Such as a topic that seems to be infinitly re-created (or bumped, I don't know) so that it's almost always active on the board. (IE the first page of general) An example of this would be the varients on "I have seen a really big Rappy"

Are these frequently re-occuring ones worse or better then bumps of their similarly themed predecessors?
