I am new to this art thing and I need a few(hundred) pointers. I started to draw a HUmar, but only got the torso drawn:

(I realized that the pad is on the wrong side, he is left handed I guess. )

Anyhow, just give me pointers on how to drawn faces and legs.. and hands. Maybe a diagram(I know that there was one on here, but I don't know where and under what topic and no I didn't use forum search, obviously.)

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I did it on a lined medium, it was all that I had at the time. It looks a little different on the paper, I tried to eliminate the blue lines on the outside of the body.

EDIT SOME MORE: And pointers on shading.

EDIT: I meant to change the shoulder strap things but never erased them.

Here is a LINK that will help!

On body structures in general and stuff. Hm. One thing about muscles in general is that, don't make them look like they are one single ... box.. so to speak. Remember muscles are millions (exaggeration) of little muscles pulling and crossing on top of each other. So... ya, not a stright line. His Batouness are excellent on muscles, you might wanna look his stuff up for reference.

NAVi is horrible in muscles so I can only point you to stuff that will help. Keep working! It will come to you.

You don't see a lot of muscle in the arms because there isn't much. His arms are smooth.

Not bad... All you need to do is find some good anatomy books (sorry people, but I didn't find Batou's tutorial all that helpful... Somewhat, though, because I can sort of draw males that look masculine now...), and practice a lot.

I suck at the shading as you can see. Just practice? Look at the works of others and adjust my style?

Pretty much... That's what I did, anyway.

It's nice to find your own style of artwork, but that will take some time to get use to. As for shading, I have problems with that including perspective.
