if you've found it, do you recall which mode and pack exactly you got it from? the info on this site seems to indicate that playing offline story mode and picking the red pack would be the best way to go... also, around what level were you?

that was always one of my fave weps from 1&2, and from what i've seen of it it seems pretty awesome. so any tips on hunting?

You need to play lots and lots of offline x.x

Offline Scenario (Story Mode) only, and ultra rare.

Ancient Saber
Guilty Light
Recobox
Merillia
Fast Attack
Skip Set

These are all ultra rare N3/4s that are only available through offline scenario.

hrmmm, i don't have my game on at the moment, but i seem to remember having skip set. i might be confusing it with the common skips though.

but what level approximately can i expect to even have a shot at it? it's hard to belive that no one on this site has actually found an ancient saber...

Its an N3, so you can get it from around level 5 and on. Of course, chances are near nil, so its not likly. Ive actually been thinking about starting chars over and over till I find two of each of these, may be easier...

why would starting new characters help? because you're less likely to find r and up cards? therefore translating into more n cards per pack? hrm... hrmmm...

I've noticed that the Red Pack gives better cards too. I thought it was a crazy coinsidence but now from what you said I can believe it's right. (offline atleast).

Some luck, I played 3 characters to CLvl 10 (When you start getting N1s and therefore are starting to have no realistic chances of getting those N3s). I ended up getting Skip Set 2 out of those 3 times, and a Merillia, but no luck with getting 2 of any of them to trade.

Still, given that I got 3/3 rares, it's probably still a better route than trying with a higher Clvl character who has around 380 or so cards in his pot to find offline.
