Registry editor?

It seems my Sony Vaio PC win 98 doesn't have the registry editor.Is there any other way to enter the "ATA<cr>"For the dial up server? Help please, thanks.

lol you have tried both regedit and regedt32? See if you can get a program from the manufacturer of the modem that would do that for you.

You shouldn't even have to mess with the registry to change the modem's init string, you should be able to do it under the modem settings in control panel.
