My main goal is to use two network connections on my computer in a very explicit way.
First, my network is set up in the following way, focusing only on my computer for this purpose: My computer is connected to a router with a Netgear FA311 card (I want this connection to be internet only). The next connection is a phoneline network, in which my computer is a client with the Intel anypoint PCI card (I want this to be file and printer sharing only).
My goal is to have the netgear FA311 card be the only internet connection, such as for webpages and games. The Intel Anypoint card must only be for file and printer sharing, and can not be used for the internet connection.
The problems I get are the following:
1. The Intel Anypoint network shares the connection over the phoneline, which is not acceptable, since the phoneline connection is slower and not reliable.
2. When I share files over the phoneline network, the netgear FA311 card tries to also send the files, which causes collisions.
