pc version IS out in japan and taiwan. its never comming to american shores though. and i hope y'all know, its only the dc version 2 with higher res textures. and you need a fast p4 to run it at full effects. oh, and from what i have heard, it wonnt run with full effects on an athalon at all.

Pentium 4s suck for gaming. And the graphics are processed from the video card/chip, and just receive insruction sets from the CPU, so, I don't see how your processor type would effect graphical effects, except for processing efficiency (AMD processors efficient for games).

So, ou shouldn't need a really uber-computer to run PSO, seeing as it'll just be a step up from the Dreamcast game (the Dreamcast uses a Kyro II-based graphics chipset, which is nothing compared to what's available today, and ran on a 233 MHz processor, so...).

In my opinion...pentium 4's suck big floppy donkey dick. 3 of my frineds all bought brand new pentium 4 comuters with in the last 3 months i've played with them all. each of them have oretty much the same computer exzactly with different video cards.... and the comps are all above 1.8 ghz. THEY ALL FREEZE UP LIKE FUCKING BITCHES they have 512mb of memeory and any time ur running kazaa with aim no other programs will load for at least 20 seconds....it's so fucking slow it pisses me off. however the athlon processors i've played with that one of my friend has is smooth as all fuck. and games play much easier on them than the pentiums my friends use. and they get more problems on their pentiums than the xp athlon ever does.

oh yeah PS maby im just an idiot but from my expiernece the pentiums blow but, maby they esentially are better, but from what i hear from stores and such they have more problems than the athlon chip has.

You heard wrong. I'm running an Athlon 1300mhz and it runs full effects just fine.
