Not necessarily.
Just a compilation of old school Sega games, remade for the worse. I believe Altered Beast was among the fallen gems, alongside like Outrun and Golden Axe.
"Sega Classics Collection" is the title.
Edit: Altered Beast is not a game featured in the collection. My mistake. I looked up a magazine review and it wasn't listed. I dunno why I thought it was in it.

This one was going to be a complete remake of altered beast release for all the systems but it was canceled.
Actually, I think it was supposed to just be a new game in the franchise, and not a remake.
