Best shield Stat wise

Hey I have a question about the best shield statwise (Tripolic, Standstill, etc.) Because i need to know which one is best for high levels.

What stat? Evasion, Defense, boosts (such as MST, ATA, or ATP) or Resistances?

It would also be helpful to know what sort of character it will be used for. Best stat wise in something might not mean anything if your character can't use it.

(this is for EP1&2, not for EP4)

Kasami Bracer is great for HU's because it has a high DFP and EVP along with an ATP boost (111/285 at max + 35 (?) ATP). It is stronger than a Tripolic Shield.

S-Parts v2.01 is good for androids, because even though it's stats are sucky, it adds 15 ATA, and that does not suck. (32/72 at max + 15 ATA)

Tripolic Shield is a very good barrier (110/281 max), and it's the strongest a FO can get. The Red Merge is also very helpful though... but some people will insist on Resta Merge for online.

Standstill Shield (178/225) is just a very strong DFP wise but not EVP wise.

Secure Feet (98/280) is good for Ramars and Ramarls, but a Ramarl (and others) can use Rico's Earrings (121/322) but they only have one drop.

Resta Merge is nice online, but since FOmar and FOmarl have longer range on Resta anyway, it's not necessarily worth it.

Tripolic is a very good shield, you don't really need another.

The original poster probably means legitimate shield, especially if you look at his profile. RR is not available for the GC/XBox, and I don't think it is out for BB.
