    Self-explanitory.
In the world of video game sequels, copy cats, and remakes, there have been many things which have been repeated way too often that you did not like that genre anymore. Please choose one I listed or tell me one I left out in your opinion(only 9 spots something will not fit there).

I had to vote FPS, because that was originally the first type of game I ever played on my 133mhz Packard Bell with 16 megs of ram.

Games like Hexen, Heretic, Doom, etc were amazing. Even bonuses when they offered different characters with different weapons and so on. But gradually it was all just over done, and now I look for the gems that are covered by abunch of dirt =

I'm not really sick of the genre entirely, but I tend to play other games more often now. Thats good though, got me out into different things.

There was a time when I harolded FSP as the best type of game. Thankfully I reached out to other games over the years.

    *hugs SNES and Genesis*
Fighting games were a main game in my house back in the day. Me and my brother would rush out to rent the latest fighting game and ream each other.

The Street Fighter series was always our fav, and there was many a weekend and summer we spent in a sweltering bedroom with no fans or cool air just to lay the sprite-smacketh upon each other.

    ...dear God..I'm sounding like an old man ;_;

Ya lil sunsabitches weren't listen to a thing I said, were ya?!

..and with that..I'm going to sleep >_>
    Look, he did it again.

POKEMON!... There's, like, "too much" and then there's "too much" >.<

What next? Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz and Emerald?

    Pokemon steel?

    Pokemon Hydrogen?

    Pokemon Uranium?

    Pokemon Uranus?

Pokemon Super Battle Championship Tournament Fall 2002 Yellow-Bluish Edition?!

FPS are all but the same game to me anymore. They all play the same(well duh) and make you do practically the same thing in every game. The ONLY reason I did not return Halo was because of the co-op mode. Other than the few times my friend and I play, it sits on the shelf collecting dust. In my opinion Goldeneye was and still is the best FPS.

I never cared for Pokemon either.

Blah, I can't decide between FPS's and Pokemon. The simple joy of shooting was gone after Doom. We need new stuff. And for Pokemon... i think KodiaX nailed it.

Hell, we should have an FPS where you shoot Pokemon.

You obviously haven't played Tribes 2.

As for the most over-used, I'd say Sports. Including, but not limited to, action/extreme sports.

ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."

Definitely sports games, especially the "extreme" ones. Too many (insert name here)'s Pro (insert sport) games out anymore. The Tony Hawks are ok but I would never buy any of them.

Actually, I think they're making a Pokemon Sapphire. Maybe I'm wrong.

I just don't care for the enourmus slew of sports games.
Nope, no pictures here. Move along.

didn't realize the world is in trouble all the time and it all just relies on one god damn guy. i think the world is bored of needing to be saved.
