i keep getting the following message

    The connection has timed out

The server at http://www.pso-world.com is taking too long to respond.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

hitting refresh seems to remdy this but its annoying.

EDIT: Changed the thread title for improved clarity

I've been working on the site most of the day and haven't encountered any connection problems so far. Has anyone else had problems connecting to the site?

You can check for routing issues or latency problems with your connection by doing a trace route in Window's command prompt. Go to the Start Menu then "Run". Type "cmd" and hit OK. When the command prompt comes up, type "tracert pso-world.com" and hit enter. This will show the path your connect takes to reach our site. Any high ping times or asterisks imply connection issues that are possibly preventing you from accessing PSOW reliably. DNS server isssues can also prevent sites from loading, so it may also help to try changing the DNS servers that your connection is using. A sign of DNS trouble would be any messages that say "unable to resolve" or "could not find host" when trying a ping or trace route with command prompt.
