Combine FF and PSO

Wouldn't that just be cool? Make a huge and long story that combines already known characters such as Squall from FF8 and PSO characters such as Rika. I'd like your opinions gents and ladies. Would this fusion work?

I'm more inclined to think it's the other way around. Rika would probably have killed herself if her first exposure to another person was Squall.

But in actuality this is not a great idea. Crossovers usually tend to suck, also the settings are completely different.

Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star just shouldn't be mixed. There'd be too many arguments of how to spell 'fantasy'

A game where you have to constantly be in a party to stand a chance against the ferocious boomas (that alone is pretty lol), and nobody will accept you into a party unless you're a FO? (on top of that, £8.99 per character)

And I like the idea that Phantasy Star doesn't have a "huge and long story." PSO's not particularly story-heavy, but the older Phantasy Star games have just as much story as any FF game.
