Lol it's currently 11:51pm in Japan. So it's almost the 6th but it wont launch at midnight exactly.

Edit: Cause you asked, Japan is GMT+9

Just play chapter 1 and 2 of offline mode, that should unlock extra mode where you can make your own character for offline play.

Unfortunately, you will need to beat Story Chapter 4 in order to unlock Extra Mode.

Ch.4 isn't that difficult at all. And as of now, it's around 2:45AM in Japan. Servers are going back up in the evening over there. which is kind of a blanket statement. It could be 5PM sharp, or it could be as late as 9PM.
