I'm thinking of importing a US PS2 and PSU but can I play from Europe with the US PS2 and PSU?

well ppl in U.S. are playing in Japan servers will I think modded PC/PS2.
it sounds possible.
Yes you can play a US PS2 but you will need an adaptor for the plug since the US plugs are different. You are better off just using a swapdisc on a EU PS2 since i cant confirm whether EU games will work on a US PS2. But 1 month isnt really much to wait for the EU version itself. Seems like alot of money and effort otherwise.
But to clarify, yes you can play from the EU online but you need to have an adaptor to convert the PS2 plug.
I'm gonna import both PS2 and PSU from http://www.vgp.ca. They take $180 for the ps2 including shipping. Which is pretty cheap for an US PS2 compered with swedish retailers.
And on PSTwo I just need an EU cord to play on it
Not just a cord, Xeion... You'll need a convertor of some sort... Or else you'll 'splode the PS2
Nope just a cord. It has both 220 and 110 volts.
btw i'm talking about PSTwo

Oh, as in the skinny PS2?
Okay then, thanks for the correction ^_^
Bear in mind you have to register your PS2 with Sony to go online. In UK, this means they send you a piece of paper through the mail.
And if you are getting the slim PS2, you have to send a form in to get the network disc.
Would Sony US would send it to an address in Sweden?

I don't remember registering my PS2, nor ever touching my Network disc... Simply setting it up and loading FFXI.
Oh ok - maybe it's just Sony Europe that have a wierd system
