Ship and Block stuff.... has that been established or still in the making?

A member of the staff will make an announcement and let everyone know. Traditionally, it's been last ship, block 8.

In Dreamcast, I think it was middle ship, block 5.

There may be a bit less to claim, this time around. Every time you enter and leave your room, you end up in a randomly selected Universe.

Really? In the 360 open beta the first time you left your room (or if you started outside your room) you'd get a random universe. After you changed it once, though, it'd keep you there until either you change it or you log out.

Edit: That is, if I switched to Universe 12 and went to my room, upon leaving I'd be back in universe 12. This may have been luck, but every time I checked it held true- for both low-population and high-population universes.

I can see your point, though... even if PSOW picked a certain universe as 'theirs', it'd still have some number of random folks popping up. Not a terribly thing, though.

You can change universes at any time. You just don't stay in the same one when you leave your room. In fact, your room seems to be treated as its own universe.

xzeekzx, go ahead and try going to psu-world.com. See what you find.
