I would need assistance into at least tracking down the problem...

I got PSU on release day and all was fine. I have been enjoying the game at rather high settings, experiencing no problems whatsoever.

I decided to capture some of it on DVDRecorder - and noticed that somehow during the last 6 months, my capture device had been uninstalled. (I don't remember doing this, but hey, why not)
I installed the card again, updated drivers... and PSU started crashing. I can barely play anymore, even with much lower settings, and most cinematics will come off choppy - when they don't lead to a general crash.

Other games are having problems - even Pangya - and I get black squares on screen sometimes, that make explorer.exe freeze - applications still run, but I cannot access any of them.

As for the capture device, it cannot do half the things it could before, with even less RAM. I am wondering if the problem is the graphic card, the motherboard, or the Power Supply.

I'm including some of the dxdiag log for specs, though I don't think it plays much of a role...

Already tried to reinstalld the old drivers?

Sometimes it occurs that new drivers causes problems.
(That's why people say: Never change a running system)

Yeah, I did a system Restore and PSU crashed at the first cinematic. It's the first thing I did to be honest The drivers are probably not the problem.

If you get the possibity try an other Graphiccard.

Did you checked if the vent of the Graca is doing well?
    Maybee the graca is overheating.
That can lead to black squares.(and other Graphic failures)

Well, the fan seems to be working, but the temperature might be high (I have no idea what is normal and whatnot... it's generally around 48-50C (120F) but rises to 55C or so when I play games.
