A Word to the wise

Grind. Seriously.

Now lets look at a good reason why.

I have a GMR rifle(Blaster) +5
its stats (minus Acc which doesnt grind >.<)
are the exactly same (well , the blaster has higher ATP and less PP)as a Vullseye , unground

Vullseye cost 9250 for boards , plus materials , and with an un fed PM has a roughly 56% chance to suceed.

Blaster cost 2000 and Five bases and a grinder boad will cost you 800 (300 for board 100 each for bases) and thats assuming you havent found any. at tha rate , you can afford to fail grinding the weapon THREE TIMES (almost five if you want to buy materials) with some change. and with max luck and grinders +5-9 I was able to grind my C rank Lance (best grindable one rangers can use) to +8. I can not tell you how embarassing it is for most hunters to see a cast ranger do 180 + on both Dus daggas hits on B ranks. Speaking of which , I met a hunter who had no wepaons other than A 5 ground 2k sword and a 4ground 2k twin dagger , we were doing de ragan C in under 8 minutes duo.

And as far as luck goes , grinding to +4 is almsot garunteed with max luck (only broken one mech gun >.> )and +4 is insanely moticable.

ANyway , now for the flip side of my argument : grinding expensive weapons

I recommend you base that one how crazy you are.

I myself am buying Bgrind boards and churning them out till i get atleast +5 chance , and then grinding my vullseye to at least 4, and then selling the rest in my shop.

You also might want to mention that if you use higher bonus grinds you also won't have to spend as much.

Heh, I bought 4 bases and a board, and they came out as +10s!

Since I have Luck 3 today, I went and ground a Compadri I'm 2 ATA short of to +4. Grand total of 2700 meseta. But yeah, grinding is great. I think the bow gained like 100 ATP. I can't wait to level up and use it.

i have a bunch of grinder C's, like over 10. So all i have to do is buy a board and synthesize them and grind my weapon?

Doh this got me too excited so I made 4 grinder B+7, and I went to synth my 4star twin daggers(8600 in shop) , so with level 3 luck(gold stars), and grinder B+7, the first 3 were good, and the last one failed, losing me everything

Now I grinded a 3 star to +5, but it is a lot worse than the 4 star I lost, even though they are the same company...

I find it insane that your 2k Rifle has more atp then a 12k+ one, good job. Grinding a Blaster to (5) gave it an extra +203 Atp over a regular Blaster? (More than +99 Atp of the 8.6k meseta Shooter.) That's insane!

Yeah that is insane... how come your 3 star rifle with +5 is better than a 5 star but my 3 star dagger with +5 is worse than a 4 star... worse by a bit.

A good reason to grind lower weapons = Great idea.

I saved up to create a 5* GRM saber (B Rank, name escapes me). PM had a 58% of creating it. Give’em the board and materials. Came back an hour later and he hands me my need shiny saber. I went to grind it (had a very high chance of success) and it blows up in my face.

Gathered the materials again and gave them to my PM (59% chance of creating). Came back an hour later and the PM hands me a stat boosting item.

Attempt number three is in the works. If I lose this one… I’m going to kill that PM.
