PSU: The Class System

-Could someone please post a guide describing the workings of the class system in detail?
-The reason I want this is so I'll have an idea as to what I'll be doing later on based on decisions I make early in the game.
-This guide should answer these questions:
1. Where will leveling the basic classes take me?
2. What are the advanced classes, and what should I know about them?
3. What are the prerequisites for each advanced class and how would complete them?
4. What weapon/item investments should I make ahead of time if there's a particular class that I want?
5. Can I multiclass? If so, how? What are the advantages/disadvantages?
6. Are all classes interchangeable like the first three? Can I change my class at any time as I did with hunter, ranger, and force?
- I encourage others to post their questions and, hopefully the guide will answer those as well. I know I'm not the only one who wants to know about the class system. Even though it's completely open as the makers advertised, it would still be nince to have some sense of direction.
