EVEN FURTHER to the next episode........?

My brother and I are both playing Story Mode and every time we finishe a chapter and get to the really boring "face scrolling" part we both hit start to skip it. However, in my brothers game, this leads him to a screen with the PSU logo on it that says "EVEN FURTHER to the next edpisode" and has some humorous dialogue between characters. Why am I not getting this in my game?

Because you played the chapter first.
The first time you beat a chapter you get a video previewing the next.
The second time you beat a chapter you get the "secret ending" which is what you described.
