What it does is it makes a .tsk file that has a today screen image (like the windows desktop wallpaper), and a start menu image.
Start menu is about 150x290 pixels, today screen is about 240x268 pixels.
Start menu text is black no matter what, so you have to be careful that it doesn't disappear into the start menu image.

I liked the idea of symbols or the letters "M" or "F" somewhere below or around the avatars. And maybe something like the exp, TP, HP, bars again. Just one for exp based on the postcount.

maybe, just maybe, here's a thought, maybe custom avatars is awarded to people who actually contributed some large quantity of work to the site as a token of appreciation
