PSU-PS2: another bad question

i have a question (yet a again) that needs a good answer... on the beastmen/woman characters the nano blast, do they get them at lvl 20 or do you have have to do a side mission (like for the SUV weapons) if anyone can info mee on this let me know okay

At level 20 you can go to the makeover shop and pay 10k for a blast badge.
