PSU: Human vs. Beast Hunter Dilemma

Alright, I have been wondering this for a while. I would like to make a very powerful, almost pure melee weapon character, but I don't know which race I should go with. I already have a level 10 Human with decent stuff (I am just using my Pallasch), but I rarely use my 1 gun, so is it worth it to transfer to a Beast for the ATP? I like being able to fall back on a handgun/saber combo, but as I said I almost never use the gun. So which is better (other stats wise as well)?

I'm a beast hunter and I do pretty well with my saber/gun combo.
A misconception people have is that beast miss A LOT. We really don't, and when we do its not even that noticeable.
If you don't mind grinding those 10 levels back I'd switch to beast hunter, just transfer the items you currently have with your Human.

Stick with human. Every hunter and their mother is a beast.

Not that it really matters, both will be completely viable and excel in the game. Beasts will get access to newer weapons a couple levels sooner with higher ATP, human will hit more often, especially come S rank missions.

Really, my favorite part of my character is when I get the 'O.o I didnt no u were hunter. U not a beast.' comments in parties.

well... go beast if u want an ez life... stick with human if u dont mind... depend what expert class u want.

No.

Wartecher... either is fine.
Fortefighter... go with beast.
Fighgunner... either is fine but humans DO get crea weapons. And better ATA for duoble saber. So PROBABLY human is better.

How bad is the DEF of a Beast, too? I know it is lower than that of a Human, but comparatively how bad (a lot less, only a little, etc.)?
