From what I understand, guilds cannot really be made in game, as far as a tag and chat room goes. Does this mean people will form guilds by giving keys or inviting people to their 'guild room'? I'm guessing the guild room would be the leader's personal room, but how many people can go into another person's room?
I was wondering about this too. I've never played an MMO without guilds so it will be odd without one. I assume there's some sort of friend list?
PSU isn't really an MMO, it's more like Diablo 2. Guilds make less sense in that environment.
Still, it may end up being that we have them anyways for game scheduling and farming and discount networks.
In your partner card that you give to other people, you have an area of text that you can edit. I guess people could enter in their guild name to separate friends and GuildMembers(/ some honor system to establish rank?)
I think I sorta like the way partner cards work more than just a straight up guild. Every big guild always ends up turning into a big emo-fest and more time spent administering it than just having fun playing.
You can always pretend you have a guild...
